FIG 3.1 · Automated Browser

A real browserthat drives itself.

Not a scraping library and not a headless shell pretending to be a user. A genuine browser session under agent control, running locally and confined like every other application on the system.

FIG 3.2 · A session, live

Watch it navigate, extract, and hand back rows.

FIG 3.2b · The surface

And this is the browser as it ships.

A real browser window with a real URL bar. The agent drives it from the rail on the right, and you watch every page it opens.

FIG 3.3 · Why local matters here

The pages it opens are pages you are already allowed to see.

A cloud browser agent has to be given your credentials, and it browses from someone else's network. This one runs on your machine, in your session, behind your VPN, so internal tools, authenticated dashboards and intranet pages simply work, and nothing about them is transmitted anywhere.

  • Uses your existing network position, VPNs and intranets included
  • Credentials never leave the device, because there is nowhere to send them
  • The session is confined to browsing; it has no reach into your files or other apps
  • Irreversible actions stop and ask you first
What it will not do unprompted
  • Submit a payment or transfer funds
  • Send a message on your behalf
  • Accept terms or grant OAuth permissions
  • Delete anything permanently
  • Complete a CAPTCHA

Each of these halts the session and asks. Approval is per action, not a mode you switch on and forget.

FIG 3.4 · Where it earns its place

What people actually use it for.

Research that ends in a table

Point it at a set of sources and get structured rows back, not a list of links you still have to read.

Sites with no API

Most internal tools and half the web have no programmatic interface. A browser is the API of last resort, and this one is scriptable by intent.

Long forms and portals

Multi-step flows that expect a human, filed, tracked, and reported on, with you approving anything irreversible.

Monitoring what changes

Re-run the same session on a schedule and diff the result, so you find out when a page changed rather than checking.

Run it on your own machine.

Free to download. Nothing leaves the device unless you connect it. Enterprise deployment is a conversation away.
