To bring MeghaOS to macOS, we compiled the MeghaOS Desktop Environment directly from its Rust core into a native Mac app. There is no virtual machine and no emulation: the very same code that powers the desktop runs natively on your Mac.
You get the real AI engine and its persistent memory running locally on your device, behind a fast, native Rust interface. It is a genuine Mac app, with the full brains of MeghaOS behind it.
The Mac app is the MeghaOS Desktop Environment, hosted by macOS instead of the MeghaOS Linux base. You get the complete Agentic AI workspace. What it does not include is the underlying operating system itself, such as the immutable Linux base, atomic OS updates, and OS-level sandboxing, which macOS provides on your Mac.
