To bring MeghaOS to macOS, we didn't just port the UI. We built a native macOS app that bundles a highly-optimized, incredibly lightweight Virtual Machine running the true MeghaOS Linux core.
This means you get the real Python FastAPI Agent, the ChromaDB memory module, and the Flutter A2UI rendering engine running locally. It feels like a native Mac app, but with the brains of a supercomputer.
Because it runs inside macOS rather than on bare metal, the Mac App delivers about 90% of the functionality of the full OS. The only things missing are low-level hardware optimizations, atomic Linux updates, and deep OS-level sandboxing (which macOS handles instead).
No partitions, no bootloaders. Just drag and drop the App into your Applications folder.

How it Works
Grab the unified `.dmg` package containing both the native app wrapper and the compressed MeghaOS VM image.
